How deep do you drill?+
Our rigs reach depths exceeding 500 metres. Most residential boreholes in Kenya range from 80-200 metres. Depth is determined by our hydrogeological survey.
How long does drilling take?+
Most residential boreholes are completed in 3-5 days. Pump installation takes an additional 1-2 days.
Do I need a permit to drill a borehole?+
Yes. A WRMA drilling permit is required. We handle the entire application process for you. It typically takes 2-4 weeks.
What if you don’t find water?+
Our surveys have a 95%+ success rate. If a borehole is dry, we either relocate and drill again at reduced cost, or refund a significant portion of fees.

What type of pump do I need?+

50-100 years with proper maintenance. Casing lasts 25-50+ years. Pumps last 8-15 years.
Is borehole water safe to drink?+
Usually yes. We always test water quality after drilling and install treatment systems if needed to meet KEBS standards.
